Birchwood Colts 2-0 Navenby JFC – 8th December 2013

In cold and blustery conditions Navenby faced off against table toppers Birchwood. It was the home side in Yellow who started the stronger team and broke the dead lock through a corner. Navenby, however, began to battle back but a powerful one-on-one strike gave Birchwood their second and result sealing game. The second half, proved to be a much closer affair and finished goal less in a tense midfield battle. Despite, the late pressure from Navenby, Birchwood won yet again by two goals to nil.
