A heated cup tie saw A-League side Rustons face off against Navenby and a dramatic game it dually produced.

A heated cup tie saw A-League side Rustons face off against Navenby and a dramatic game it dually produced. A slice of luck gave the home side the lead, profiting from an early own goal only for Kobé Tong to hit back. The Blues took the lead for a second time, but yet again Navenby replied with James Stocks slotting home. Once again, the home sides front man rammed in a third before Stocks got his second via the penalty spot. However, it was not to be, a further two goals from Rustons gave them a thrilling 5-3 win.
