Gonerby 1-0 Navenby JFC – 24th November 2013

Having already locked horns earlier in the season, Navenby were looking for more than a 1-1 draw which had been played out in September. It was the home side who started better, yet no real clear cut opportunity featured in the first half. Navenby started the second period with more energy, Ben Norman’s effort going just wide. However, a late cross was pushed away by Andy Williams to the feet of Gonerby’s front man who clinically converted to break the dead lock. Late pressure from the away side was not enough in a 1-0 defeat.
